There are two places to take helicopter tours over the Grand Canyon. The South Rim or the West Rim. There are no heli flights between the two rims due to the distance. West Rim flights start in Las Vegas and South Rim flights start from Grand Canyon Airport in Tusayan, AZ. The West Rim is the only place where you can fly to the bottom of the Canyon. It also has the Grand Canyon Skywalk. South Rim flights are air only and go across the Canyon to the North Rim and back.
