We are locally owned and have been offering balloon rides in Kansas City, Overland Park and Olathe for 30 years. TIME OF YEAR Conditions are more favorableto fly a hot air balloon in Kansas City during late spring, summer, autumn and early winter. Hot air balloons can be seen any day that surface winds are less than 10 mph. |

DURATION All hot air ballon rides are 1 hour. Flights start at sunrise and end 1 hour before sunset. |
 |
GUESTS Children may ride but must be 36' from the bottom of their chin to their feet. |

WHAT TO WEAR The temperature at normal hot air balloon flight elevations is not different from that on the ground. The temperature drops 1.5 degrees every 1,000 feet. Since a hot air balloon moves with the wind you do not feel a breeze. |

CANCELLATION *One half fare to be paid in advance to reserve the date for a hot air balloon ride. Hot air balloon rides are scheduled just after dawn or one hour before sunset. 24 hour notice is required for cancellation or deposit is not refunded. Balloon rides must be made in advance. Cash, check or money order accepted. Sorry no credit cards accepted. |

ADDITIONAL Typically, hot air balloons fly just above the tree top level in the country and over 1,000 feet in populated areas. Hot air balloons stay out of clouds. |
