Where can I find a Paddle Board company?

How much does it cost?

Most companies average between $60.00 - $100.00 per person depending on the number of people in the group.

Do I need a wetsuit?

This depends on which type of water you are going to be paddle boarding on. For example, if you are going paddle boarding in the ocean and it’s below 70 degrees -- yes, you need a wetsuit. Wetsuits are provided at no cost by most paddle board companies.

How long is the lesson or tour?

Both the lessons and the tours take at least over an hour in the water. If you are planning your day around a paddle board lesson or tour, you will want to carve out at least two hours from your schedule.

When is the best time to go paddle boarding?

It is usually best to go in the morning before the wind picks up. That way, the water is completely flat which makes it easier. This is particularly true for ocean lessons. It’s difficult enough with the waves anyway and a stiff breeze increases that difficulty.
